Late evening pictures of the remaining Elephant Seals near San Simeon, CA. At this time of year, the males are all back out at sea, while the females stay to shed their skin. Light was fading badly as the sun set, so these are not as sharp as they could have been. Next year I’ll catch them all fighting during the day May 2008.
